Casey Peek is a documentary filmmaker and media producer based in the San Francisco Bay Area, known for creating visual stories at the intersection of labor, migration, and human rights. As the founder of Peek Media, Casey has over two decades of experience producing films that seek to inform, inspire, and mobilize.
His collaborations with the UC Berkeley Labor Center resulted in widely recognized films such as Trading Freedom: The Hidden Costs of the FTAA and Eyes on the Fries: Young Workers in the Service Economy. |
Casey also produced New World Border, a powerful exploration of U.S.–Mexico border militarization and its human toll, and Hidden Internment: The Art Shibayama Story, a documentary uncovering the little-known history of Japanese Latin American internment during World War II.
Through Peek Media, Casey continues to work with organizations across the U.S. and beyond that advocate for labor rights, migrant justice, and economic equity. He also provides wedding and event coverage and continues to produce digital and online content that brings storytelling into the heart of today’s movements for social change.
